Just a few questions

I have read a lot of post on the forums and done my research and decided to choose CFI as my destination but after taking with them but I still have a few questions that I thought would be better asked and answered by the actual guests 

1. I understand there is 2 resorts boca 1 and 3 but then there is also emerald beach is that just one of them renamed  but what are time of the advantages of picking 1 or the other do they both have beach access

2 has anyone done any of the activities becides golf kinda intrested to see how thing went and your thoughts on them

3 I read about a mall and a Main Street that you can go explore and do some shopping how is that is it decent a lot of choices or not worth it 

4 I think I saw something about a cave restraunt anyone been what’s the atmosphere like good food?

5 after a few day of day trips and spending time on the beach might just want to relax in bed with a beauiful woman and watch some tv with snacks and advice on what app would be best to have subtitles so we both can enjoy 

6 looking into translation devices saw a earbud one or would just a simple one on my phone work what translation app does everyone recommend 

any other tips greatly appreciated

Boca 1 is the original. Most private but not as modern as the others. Best food on site also. Beach is a 3-5 minute walk. Boca 3 is on the beach but food is off premises other than breakfast. Right on the beach. Playa Esmeralda is also on the beach. The food is ok at best and buffet style. This beach is private for the resort guests and people selling stuff on the beach. Hope this helps. Sorry but I forgot the other questions and I’ll get to them later.

What I did is copy and paste your questions and answered them. I am a long hauler, been there more times than I can count, so hopefully I can answer everything to your satisfaction.

Boca 3 is brand new ( stayed there a few months ago ) Emerald beach is down the road another 15 minutes, but still hasn't opened back up since covid. I like the original because I kinda grew up there ;-) But hands down the new #3 is awesome, Especially since they have that special so it is the same price as the older one, it is directly on the beach and the rooms all have ocean view balconies. You can do all your meals there, but there are great restaurants all around.

I have done most of the stuff, Saona Island, Catalina, The Falls, ATV, Santo Domingo city tour. Pretty much anything you want to do. Saona was my favorite.

We did that on our city tour, there is a lot to see and they have a driver that allows you to pick where you want to go and how long you want to stay and it's really inexpensive.

I did the cave on one trip, long long taxi ride, but it is a cool place, food was good. You can Google it. I think it is something like MASON de CAVA SAnto Domingo.
There is also a great one just down the street from the hotel called Neptunos, it is actually built on a pier over the ocean.

Don't know on a phone, but the tvs can be set to show subtitles.

I use the free Google app, you can type or just speak into it and it translates.
