Hello I'm planning a trip to CFI in October this year is that a good time to go? Also do you fly into the Santiago airport for CFI?

October is a pretty good month, hurricane season is over, beaches aren't as busy, weather is a little cooler, (mid 80's) and the evenings are exceptional for sitting out on the balcony, over looking the beach, with your favorite girl ( who is always HOT ! ) Enjoy
The airport is Santo Domingo ( SDQ )

Santa Domingo is the airport you need to use. It’s only about 15 minutes away from CFI in Boca Chica. Hurricane cane season runs from June 1 to November 30. But I’ve been there in June and July and never had any issues with hurricanes. A majority of the hurricanes go North of the island.

I prefer the winter months because it's cooler, the humidity is a little lower and there are rain showers which I really enjoy. Have only been to the original location so I can't say what the others are like during the rain but the veranda is wonderful. Cool breezes, rain falling through the trees, adult beverage in hand and a hot chica snuggled up close. Damn I need to get back!!

Also you can use the La Romana or Punta Cana airports as they are much closer to CFI. Santiago is several hours away and through the mountains. If you choose an airport other than Santo Domingo you will charged for for the transfer fees. Someone will be there to pick you up and get you to CFI. Anytime is good at CFI just my opinion. If you got free time and want a get away couldn’t think of a better place myself no matter what time of year it is.

Thanks everyone for your replies. My possible October trip has been slightly delayed but still in progress.
